Ikonoclast.❤

Hi there! I'm Alyssia Lain Farlight - or just Lain for short - a writer and game developer and I run the studio Ikonoclast.❤ where I'm hard at work on developing and writing games with a focus on providing better representation for girls like myself; i.e. games full of girls who love other girls! Games with diverse casts that are inclusive of all manner of LGBTQ people; gay/lesbian/bi/pan, trans, non-binary, asexual, aromantic? Queer fiction by queer creators! I want to be able to freely create games with all kinds of wonderful characters that represent people so often excluded from typical mainstream games~

I've always loved visual novels and interactive fiction, so when deciding what to work on with my own studio it was immediately obvious to me that I wanted to make those sorts of games. I also wanted to create games which would actually represent my own thoughts, feelings, and experiences and the things I view as important. I want to create works full of queer characters, of the emotional and interpersonal connections between them, and be able to draw from my own experiences and the world around us~
